On its website Squarespace declared that it commits to treating personal data from the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom according to the Framework of the Privacy Shield, in conformity with the applicable Principles.  According to CNIL “this mechanism (The Privacy Shield) … is considered as offering legal guarantees for “such data transfers".
